The Pitchfork Players

What are the Pitchfork Players? The Pitchfork Players is the drama club that is in charge of organizing all of the extracurricular events that are held during each semester by LHS Drama. It is led by at least four thespian officers who are elected at the end of each school year by all of the Pitchfork Players. These officers are in charge of bringing up potential fundraiser opportunities as well as leading events held by the Pitchfork Players like the Inprov nights. The Pitchfork Players are also responsible for preparing plays that are practiced and performed after school.

ThesCon

The Georgia Thespian Conference, or ThesCon, is a convention held every year in February at Columbus University. This event hosts high school drama troupes throughout Georgia for a gathering to perform plays, earn scholarships, meet new people, and learn what being a Georgia Thespian is about.

Drama Troupes

Georgia Thespians is comprised of all of the middle and high schools that span throughout the state. Each registered school is considered a troupe. These troupes are given a designated number for distinction. Loganville High School is proud to be Georgia Thespian Troupe 6144. These troupes are responsible for performing theatrical plays each year and participating in the state one-act competitions. They also have the chance to come to the annual ThesCon where they can apply to be an honor troupe, they can participate in             ,  and they can have students nominated for scholarships.
